A traditional Moroccan dinner consists of a selection of seasonal salads, cooked and uncooked, a meat or fish tagine or couscous with bread, followed by a fruit dessert then mint tea or coffee and pastries.
For guests who wish to create a Moroccan dinner at home, our excellent cook [recommended on Tripadvisor] offers cookery sessions in the riad,
The session begins with discussion of the menu with our cook and English speaking house manager in the morning followed by shopping in the local shops and markets for the ingredients. This is followed by helping the cook prepare and cook the food, then arranging it for serving and finally eating it! Our house manager can translate explanations, write recipes down and take photos if wanted. A bottle of water and wine is included in the price
